01. How do I get home health care when I need it?
You can visit Lake Centre Home Care during office hours. Appointments are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome as well. If possible, please make a call ahead before visiting. This will allow us to arrange services and reduce your waiting time. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
02. What is skilled home health care?
Skilled home health is skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aides, and medical social services provided in your home. Skilled home health requires a physician's order and services are closely monitored by your physician and our clinical team.
03. What are private duty services?
Private duty services can complement skilled home health care, but they are different. Private duty services include light house work, sitting with the patient, cooking and personal care.
04. What does ACHC Accreditation mean?
Being ACHC Accredited means going through a process of review that allows healthcare organizations to demonstrate their ability to meet regulatory requirements and standards established by a recognized accreditation organization like ACHC. Accreditation reflects an agency’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that demonstrate a higher level of performance and patient care. ACHC Accreditation Standards were created by industry experts with providers’ needs in mind.
